deChase is joint venturing with Edlen & Co. on developing the latest addition to the Spokane Valley.
206 West Riverside will provide both workforce and market-rate housing to the growing demand for housing in the Spokane Valley. Residents are likely to include urban transplants from larger metropolitan areas along with local residents who desire to learn, work, and play within a short distance of their home.
The project includes 137 units that is comprised of a mix of studios, one, and two-bedroom apartments. These mix of unit types will provide residents new options that have not been constructed in the downtown Spokane market since the 1980s. The project also includes 57 parking stalls plus bike parking. Amenities will include outdoor urban amenity deck, amenity room, secured parking, energy-efficient systems, easy access to public transportation and a location mere steps from the Spokane River. Neighborhood retail will also be developed and will likely include a coffee shop, market, or restaurant opening up to a plaza with seating and enhanced landscape.
The current plans reflect a strong commitment to sustainable design practices and the Developers are targeting a LEED Gold Certification from the US Green Building Council.
Construction is planned to commence in the late Spring of 2021 and is expected to take approximately 15 months to complete for a summer 2022 delivery.
