Dean Papé has a portfolio of development projects that runs the gamut, from residential to retail and from medical to mixed-use. Recent additions to his volume of work include student housing, automotive dealerships, market-rate apartments and a neighborhood retail center.
As a project manager with Gerding Edlen, one of the nation's leading real estate investment and development firms, Dean provided project management and construction oversight on numerous successful urban development projects. He used the experience and knowledge gained from these complex and varied projects to create a process that fosters exemplary communication with his clients from start to finish. Prior to each project, he works with each client to create a customized development plan to assure that a project aligns with its original goals and vision.
No two real estate development projects are alike and Dean's decisive and collaborative management style have allowed him to succeed in the real estate development industry despite the recession, while relishing the varied challenges posed by the unique demands of each new project.
Dean is an active member of several community and professional organizations, including Eugene Chamber of Commerce, and Rotary International. In addition, he serves as a chairperson on the Cascade Health Solutions Board of Directors. In 2009, Dean was honored with the 20 Under 40 Award, given to the top 20 business professionals under the age of 40 in Eugene by the Chamber of Commerce.
Dean earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering and Construction Management and a minor in Business Administration from Oregon State University. A strong believer in education, he continually adds to his knowledge and expertise by taking courses in real estate finance, marketing and property management and seeking knowledge from mentors within the industry.
