While searching for a location for its new member support center, Northwest Community Credit Union brought deChase on board to advise the Credit Union’s executive team on site selection, due diligence, budget development, and overall project management.
DeChase assisted in identifying a brownfield redevelopment site in the Courthouse District in Downtown Eugene as the Credit Union’s future location. The site affords high exposure to the growing credit union while also fulfilling the city’s vision of improved access and connectivity to the Willamette River, by providing a key link between the core of Downtown and the EWEB riverfront. deChase worked with the Credit Union’s real estate broker to develop an acquisition strategy that set the tone for seamless negotiations with the City of Eugene staff and elected officials to ensure all parties objectives were met with the development of this critical Downtown location.
deChase managed the project to completion coordinating all design and construction activities. deChase also provided all FF&E and information technology coordination and procurement. The project was completed on schedule and under budget.
